M. Jason Pruzin (Sound Designer) is in his ninth season as resident designer for The Rep. In addition to The Rep's stages, his work has been heard around central Arkansas with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, at Wildwood Park for the Arts, Ballet Arkansas, Arkansas Festival Ballet, the Pine Bluff Symphony, Central High School, and Little Rock Christian Academy. Jason has also had the privilege to guest design and lecture for the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, Arkansas State University, and West Virginia University. Prior to making Little Rock his home he worked extensively for several theatre companies-spending time with the Williamstown Theatre Festival, The Mobius Group, Company of Fools, Barksdale Theatre, Weathervane Playhouse and Heritage Theatre Festival-as well as on the road, touring children's theatre. Jason is also a founding member of two theatre companies, the Drama Desk award winning Transport Group based in New York City, and the New Lyric Theatre, a musical theatre group in Charlottesville, VA. As one who believes in the importance of Arts in education, Jason strives to make an ongoing contribution through sound workshops, guest lectures, and training for educators and students. He studied and received his B.A. in drama at the University of Virginia.
